SINOPSIS-Ketika di dunia ini dihuni seluruhnya oleh makhluk mekanik Rodney Copperbottom dianggap sebagai penemu jenius. Rodney mimpi dari dua hal, membuat dunia menjadi tempat yang lebih baik dan pertemuan idolanya, master penemu Bigweld. Pada perjalanannya ia bertemu Cappy, 'bot dengan siapa Rodney adalah langsung jatuh cinta, Ratchet tiran jahat korporasi yang mengunci tanduk dengan Rodney, dan sekelompok ketidakcocokan' seorang eksekutif yang indah bot dikenal sebagai Rusties, dipimpin oleh Fender dan Piper Pinwheeler.
