Film sci-fi barat berjudul “The Divergent Series: Insurgent ( 2015 )” ini bercerita tentang kisah dari pemberontak ( Insurgent ) yang meningkatkan pertaruhan Tris yang mencari sekutu dan jawaban di reruntuhan dystopian dari Chicago futuristic. Tris yang diperankan oleh ( Shalene Woodley ) bersama Four diperankan oleh ( Theo James ) sedang menjadi buronan.

Mereka diburu oleh Jeanine diperankan oleh ( Kate Winslet ), pemimpin dari Erudite ( Ilmiah )elit yang haus akan kekuasaan. Dengan berpacu bersama waktu, mereka harus mencari tahu apa yang keluarga Tris korbankan dalam hidup mereka untuk melindungi dan mengapa para pemimpin Erudite selalu berusaha melakukan apapun untuk menghentikan mereka.
